AI-assisted Assurance Case Development

Assurance cases are used in many domains to manage and demonstrate system safety, security and compliance.
You can develop them manually or assisted with AI tools that may increase the speed of argument development
and also improve its quality.
During the training you will learn about the main scenarios of AI interactions during assurance case development
in PREMIS. We will discuss possible pitfalls, as well as how to manage them and ensure high-quality arguments.
The training will help you improve the quality of your assurance cases. We welcome engineers and assurance professionals who develop assurance cases, as well as reviewers and qualifiers.

During the training we will work on sample projects with an AI assistant in PREMIS, analysing possible approaches and best practices. Each participant will have an individual account in PREMIS and will
be able to practice the discussed techniques on their own. We will look from the perspective
of a developer and a reviewer to find optimal solutions that lead to strong and compelling arguments.
Prerequisites
- Basic understanding of assurance cases and GSN.
- Prior knowledge of the PREMIS assurance case tool would be useful but it is not required.
